Doctor's Appointment
This is week 36. I finally got to see the doctor today after a 3 week hiatus. The baby is head down and around 7 pounds. I'm 50% effaced and 1 cm dilated. We have a long way to go, but I'm happy to hear my body has started the process. We'll continue to update you as the weeks dwindle away.

Just remember that the effacement and dialation is no indication of when you will actually go into labor. I was 3cm dialated and 90% effaced with Jackson at 36 weeks (they thought he was going to be early), but I carried him to 40 weeks (then they changed their story and started talking about inducing me) ... I also had a friend who went into labor who was not dialated AT ALL! Only God knows when this little one will come into the world!
