He’s been consistently sleeping 8 hour stretches at night. We are still working towards the goal of 12 hours though. And he has fallen into a predictable schedule of eat, wake, and sleep times during the day.
I have had to go through his drawers and retire the newborn and 0-3 month clothes. That was a sad day! He now wears 3-6 month clothes and size 1-2 diapers.
Orin is full of smiles, but he likes to have you work pretty hard for them! He loves to be sung to. We sing “Wheels on the Bus”, “Pat-A-Cake”, and “Itsy Bitsy Spider” a lot. And this past weekend, he enjoyed playing Peek-a-Boo with Grandpa K.
He loves to snuggle with Mama…especially when he is tired. But he does put himself to sleep for all naps and bedtime. He is still in the cradle, but we hope to transition him to the crib soon, before I go back to work in 2 weeks.
Orin has almost doubled his birth weight. He weighed 12 pounds the last time we weighed him about a week ago. Notice the double chin??
He loves his car seat which is great considering we have traveled every single weekend since he was born.
It has been so fun for us to see his personality come out more and more. He is such a content and happy baby. We absolutely adore him! We are so glad that he is ours.
