Saturday was a crazy day. Ryan’s parents were in town so we showed them and Ryan’s brother and sister-in-law our rental house. Then we bundled up like it was winter and spent most of the day uptown. It eventually warmed up during the afternoon parade so that we could take off the bundles of coats and sweatshirts. Orin slept through most of the parade until it was time to eat. Ryan and I got our fudge puppies after the parade, which are my favorite. Saturday night, we realized we didn’t take a single picture uptown by the tulips, so of course we had to make the 2 block trek once more. And since we were already up there, we thought we should probably get a funnel cake to share.
Later, we hung out with friends. The boys played yard games and the girls oohed and aawed over the babies. We even got to see two friends of ours from college who came over to see us and to meet Orin. It was so good to visit with them. We came back home Sunday morning just in time for another crazy week at school.
I’ll leave you with the pictures, since I know that’s what you really want to see.

So glad you had a good time. I love the pictures of Orin hangin' out "by himself" on the wooden shoe. :)
You look like you're fitting back into your normal clothes already!!!!! GRRRRR! I'm still battling that ... I never believed anyone when they said it's harder to loose the weight after the second ... but it's true. Did I say GRRRRRRR yet?
